NBA Basketball School is one of the NBA brand's businesses with global operations and its purpose is to share the world's most successful basketball teaching method for children and youth ages 6 to 18. In Uruguay, the project was launched in October 2018.
The program aims to apply the methodology in social clubs and schools that are interested in offering the sport to their students as an extracurricular activity, helping players, parents, coaches, and organizations to better understand the process of improvement and development in the sport.

Its application is closely monitored by NBA's Pedagogical Coordinators in Uruguay in direct contact with the league's international operations team around the world, guaranteeing excellence in conducting the activities and the satisfaction of all involved.
